Why I rec this: I think its an good topic to explore more and I really like the watch being supportive and this author really captures the tone of the watch books.
They say a lie will travel halfway around the world before the truth has gotten its boots on, but the boots of a copper are something special indeed. Day after day of patrol wears them ragged, until they are thin enough to read the mood of the city in the vibration of its cobblestones. Eventually, they wear thin enough to become boots in concept only, the leather of the soles a second layer of skin that can't be removed. A copper wears perpetual boots in potentia, as it were. They mean to give the lie a run for its money.

Why I Rec This Fic: Some authors lays wonderful things like humour or character and relationship studies, or in this case, a nice way of handling the negoation of kink/boundaries/stuff, into their sex scenes, and i could read more about that.
Also Carrot and Cherrys reaction to that all made me smile.
She eyed Carrot. He still radiated that eager-schoolboy-air he always had when he was being accepting and learning about other cultures and practices, but…
But Sally was a vampire and she’d heard the way his heart sped up when Angua dropped her dress. Recognised the slightly too-focused look on his face. Gotcha.
Sally pulled her own dress off and chucked it carelessly in the corner of the room. Carrot’s heartbeat gave a little jump, and – hey, Angua’s did too. Good. Surprising, but definitely good.

It was better than a circus. See Dorfl, the ceramic Golem, teaching children fire-safety by setting a fellow Golem on fire. See Ponder Stibbons of Unseen University, selling giant magical bags of cloud-like stuff called 'Spun Sugar' to raise money for new additions to Hex. See Chrysoprase the troll, head of the Breccia crime family, manning a booth for the Guild of Legitimate Businessmen. Next to it, Nobby Nobbs, showing a precocious seven-year-old how to shoot the head off a stuffed mannequin with a crossbow. Even the Assassins had opened a recruiting stall for the Guild school, inviting kiddies to try and guess how many weapons each of the stall's occupants was wearing under their clothing. Get it right, win a prize!
